January 26th: Richard Paul on Acceptance Testing with Geb

This talk will cover the basics of using Geb to automate browser testing. It will compare Geb with raw WebDriver/Selenium showing Geb's expressive Groovy API. It will also demonstrate how to integrate Geb with acceptance testing frameworks, namely Cucumber via Cuke4Duke. We will also cover an experience report on how and why we transitioned from raw WebDriver to Geb and how existing WebDriver projects can be ported across to Geb with minimal initial effort due to its underlying use of WebDriver.

Richard Paul is a software developer with a keen interest in testability, acceptance testing and behaviour driven development. You can catch him on twitter at @rapaul or on his blog at http://rapaul.com

The event will take place at the Skills Matter Exchange in central London, starting from 6:30 PM on January 26th. The event is free to attend, but up-front registration is required. Register here
